Why Roadmap?
International studies indicate that more and more students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) are making the transition to higher education and are confronted with specific needs such as doubts about the disclosure of their disability or managing the competitive social and academic requirements of higher education.
That's why the Support Centre for Inclusive Higher Education (SIHO) and Ghent University developed Roadmap, an online, interactive and personal guidance tool that responds to the specific needs of students with autism spectrum disorders in higher education. The instrument will be implemented in all Flemish universities and colleges in the 2019-2020 academic year.
