What can I do as a mentor with Roadmap?
When you register as a mentor and log in to Roadmap, you end up on the dashboard. Here you will find a clear overview of all the students that your are mentoring.
You will also find several fast buttons for each student: the student's profile, messages, agenda, logbook and student's network. As a mentor you will also have the opportunity to create a personal file for each student within Roadmap, for your own use.
In this way Roadmap offers you tools to be able to mentor the student even more smoothly.
How do I register as a mentor?
You’ll need an account to use Roadmap. Contact the administrator of your institution to create a Roadmap account for you. Once an account has been created for you, you will receive an email to activate your account. You can enter your personal details and choose a password via the link in this email.
You can login via the login link at the top right of the menu. Enter your e-mail and password and click on 'sign-in'.
Can't log in or forgotten your password? Then click on ‘Forgot password?’ on the login screen.
How can I start with Roadmap as an administrator of an institution?
You need an account to use Roadmap. As an administrator, your account is created by SIHO and linked to the tool. For this, provide the following information to SIHO via roadmap@siho.be:
- Name and first name of administrator (preferably one person)
- Email and user-id administrator
- Active e-mail extensions within your institution (staff and students)
Once an account has been created for you, you will receive an activation email. You can enter your personal details and choose a password via the link in this email.
Once you have logged in, you can create mentors for your institution and link students, who register in Roadmap and want a mentor, to active mentors.
